I suppose I should start with a little bit about myself and what this is going to be, but what I really should open with is this: HELLO AND WELCOME AND THANK YOU FOR CARING ENOUGH TO READ THIS.
Now that’s out of the way, I’ll begin…
I’m Fred, I’m 19 years old, I live in the Peak District, UK, and I’m a photography enthusiast and aspiring writer – in fact I’ve withdrawn from university to begin work on my first novel in an attempt to turn that aspiration into some sort of reality. That’s a very long winded way of saying that I spend a lot of time in my bedroom, staring at a computer screen, trying to make some of my slightly weirder thoughts look good on paper. I really enjoy reading and writing poetry too, so if you’re wanting anyone to have a look at something you’ve written, get in touch!
I’m kinda hoping that this blog develops into a space where I can put all of my creative stuff in one area, so expect poetry, bits of prose, a whole lot of photography, and some travelling posts, as I’m going travelling at the end of this month all through Europe. Due to the incredible scenery of where I live, much of my photography is based on landscapes and nature, but my real favourites are city based street-art and capturing cool, unplanned photos of people that hopefully don’t attack me for slyly using them in my shots.
Other amazingly important facts you should definitely know before moving on with your life are that I have a 13 year old labrador called Truffle, an 18 year old girlfriend called Amelia, and I’m slightly obsessed with cooking. I’m essentially a middle aged man trapped in a teenager’s body.
So yeah, drop a comment about yourself or your blog and I’ll be sure to check it out; thanks for reading!
